About Blogs/Blogging. For those of you unfamiliar with blogging, a blog is simply a "weblog." It is an online journal. It is free; anyone who can type and do a simple registration (username, pw, email address) can publish to the Internet.

The content can range from the most banal to the very grave. Some blogs probably are never read by anyone other than their authors, others have readerships of millions.
